October Ipsy Bag

So I got my October Ipsy bag in the mail yesterday. I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone else who gets it. So if you want to see what I got in mine, just keep reading.

I have to say. After last year’s Valfre bag, this October’s bag is a little plain to me. I think that Valfre bag will be my all time favorite Ipsy bag to be honest. This month’s is a red on red lace pattern with a black zipper and little bat charm on the zipper pull. It’s cute but it doesn’t do anything for me.

As for the actual contents of the bag. I got a few things from brands that I already use and love, one  from a brand that I’ve heard of but never used, and the last from a brand that I’ve just never heard of at all.

We’ll start with the brands I know and love. From Urban Decay, I got a 14/7 glide on eye pencil in the color perversion. I’ve got this in other Ipsy bags and I’ve bought full sizes. I really like it. It’s just a black eyeliner. It goes on smooth and for me, it stays on pretty well. I also got the IT cosmetics bye bye pores pressed powder. I haven’t used this particular product but I’ve used other products from this brand so I’m interested to see how this performs. I think my favorite product in the whole bag is the Tony Moly peach hand cream. Most importantly to me, it smells so good and it makes my hands feel soft, not greasy. good stuff. The last two items I got were a Rimmel London lipstick and a Skyn Iceland eye icelandic relief eye cream. I swatched the lipstick and eyeliner, and I tested out the hand and eye creams. Based on first use, I like them. We’ll see how I feel after extended use.

Here are the swatches of the black eyeliner and the lipstick.

What did you get in your Ipsy bag?
